Car audio has been a long-time passion of mine, starting with installing a very basic audio system in my first car. From that point on, it has grown into a very fun, but sometimes frustrating, love-affair. I spent nearly 9 years as a professional installer in various shops, always trying to improve my craft. I stepped away from professionally installing, met my wife, Alexa, and began building a life we love, which of course includes car audio. 

I competed briefly in my younger years, but didn't have the ability to continue. Throughout the many years, I always found a way to have an aftermarket audio system in the cars I owned. In 2019, I found myself in a position to attend competitions again, attending a few shows that year. I joined a competition team the same year,  and jumped in to building a competition-worthy sound system. 2020 of course was a tough year for everyone with the restrictions, but I still found a few shows that I could attend. I began becoming a bit more serious in 2021, attending more than 15 shows. Alexa joined me at a lot of the shows and began competing herself in sound quality competitions. I met a few very helpful people and began building great relationships. In the spring of 2022, I was asked to take over judging responsibilities for the "International SPL League", or ISPLL, in Ohio, and happily accepted, with Alexa being my partner in all we did. With a rough but rewarding first year, my wife and I learned a lot, and continued to learn as we moved forward with this amazing endeavor. In late 2022, ISPLL had a change in ownership. As much as I loved being a judge for that organization, the changes that were asked of the judges from the new owner did not align with the state of competitions in Ohio. So, with a very heavy heart, I stepped down from judging for ISPLL. But I couldn't stay away long. I had already formed Andreas Unlimited LLC just a few months before the changes, and found myself in a unique position to build a new organization from scratch. From that, ASICO - Auto Sound & Install Competitors Organization was born. Still being an infant compared to many of the more established orgs, we have a lot more to learn, but plan on putting everything we have to build this into something amazing!
